Race/LA and CityRace Registration

CityRace Registration

Both your registration and full payment must be received before your application is complete. You'll have the opportunity to select your hunt date(s) and time(s) on the next page.

After receipt of your registration and payment, you'll receive an e-mail confirmation with directions to the starting location of your hunt.

If you register as an individual player, at the start of your hunt we'll match you up with one, two or three other players to form a team. In the unlikely event that we're unable to do so, you may participate as a solo player.

1. Submit one registration per team. Choose a team member to serve as contact person for your team, and enter that person's name and e-mail below.

2. Please read the CityRace Rules & FAQ.

3. Choose a team name and enter it in the space indicated below. (Team names should be appropriate for all ages).

4. Along with your registration, payment in full for your team is required. Follow the link to PayPal's secure site that will appear after you submit this registration page.

CITYRACE WAIVER AND RELEASE By submitting this application and checking the box below, I AND ALL OF MY TEAM MEMBERS hereby agree, warrant and consent as follows: To release, discharge and hold harmless Race/LA and CityRace (“the Race”) and its producers, affiliates, owners, agents and assignees from all claims and damages arising out of my participation in the Race. I accept and assume all risks of injury, illness, disease or death, or other damage to myself, to others, or to their property, which arise in any way from my participation in the Race including, without limitation, the following: acts of other people including, without limitation, acts of other participants; weather or other natural conditions; latent or apparent defects or conditions in any equipment used in the Race; the use or operation by me or others of said equipment; the nature of travel around the city including, without limitation, traffic accidents; latent defects and human error; my physical condition; my own acts or omissions; first-aid, medical or emergency treatment or other services rendered to me or others; exposure to illness; consumption of food or drink; acts of God (e.g. earthquakes and floods); terrorism; and/or no reason at all. I understand and acknowledge that the above list of reasons is not complete or exhaustive. I also consent and agree to have my likeness used at the Producers' discretion as part of the Race, or as part of promotions for the Race or future Races, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised. I also understand that my likeness will not be sold to any third party and will be used only for the promotion of Race/LA, its affiliates and assignees. This release shall be deemed to be entered into in Los Angeles County, California, and shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California applicable to documents or agreements executed and fully carried out within California. Any action, proceeding or litigation concerning this release or my participation in the Race may only be brought in Los Angeles County, California, and I hereby agree that the courts of Los Angeles County, California, shall have exclusive jurisdiction over me and the subject matter of any such proceeding. I agree that any and all disputes or controversies arising under or relating to this release or any of its terms, any effort by any party to enforce, interpret, construe, rescind, terminate or annul this release, or any provision thereof, and any and all disputes or controversies arising under or relating to my participation in the Race, shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association, through its Los Angeles, California office. I agree that the arbitrator's ruling, or arbitrators' ruling, as applicable, in the arbitration shall be final and binding and not subject to appeal or challenge. Without limiting the foregoing, any provision of this release that is invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any jurisdiction will, as to that jurisdiction, be ineffective only to the extent of such invalidity, illegality or unenforceability, without affecting in any way the remaining provisions hereof in such jurisdiction or rendering that or any other provision of this release invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any other jurisdiction. No waiver by the Producers of any term or condition of this release will be construed as a waiver by the Producers of any other term or condition; nor will any waiver by the Producers of any default under this release be construed as a waiver by the Producers of any other default. It is further understood and agreed that no failure or delay in exercising any right, power or privilege hereunder shall operate as a waiver thereof, nor shall any single or partial exercise thereof preclude any other or further exercise thereof or the exercise of any right, power or privilege hereunder.
